Did you know Folsom Prep has an engineering design lab? Every week, students take a technology class from the one and only Mr. Smith, where they get to learn, create, and innovate! From learning computer basics to coding programs and using 3D pens and printers to learning all about internet safety, students have access to incredible learning tools and resources.

In this month's Teacher Feature, it's all about the fabulous Ms. Dorvin! Ms. Dorvin is our 2nd & 3rd grade teacher who is nothing but warm and welcoming! She loves her students just as much as they love her, and we're so lucky to have her here at Folsom Prep. We asked her what she enjoys doing in her spare time, and one of her favorite things to do is...LEARN! Ms. Dorvin loves learning new things and brings that same enthusiasm into her classroom where she fosters a love of learning with her own students.

Students have been hard at work on their Science Fair projects! Hands-on experiments are an amazing way to learn about how things work - like electricity or chemical reactions. 💡It also inspires students to ask questions, take risks, and make and test hypotheses. Investigative learning is one of our favorite things to do!
